Collin College wrapped up its fall tennis play at home with the Collin College Open. A pair of players will attend the Fall Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Championship Cup later this week.
Tennis Coach Charity Andrews has been pleased with the team's performance in fall play.
"I think all the players have improved since earlier in the fall," she said. "We continue to have things we need to work on for singles and doubles and we will during off-season training."

Prior to the Collin College Open, the teams traveled to Tyler for ITA Regionals.
"Overall I was happy with how we competed and fought for each match," Andrews said. "These players never gave up."
Luis Ching and Edward Shteyn got an at-large bid for the ITA Fall Cup. There will only be eight doubles teams at the tournament, which runs Oct. 14-16.
"Being able to go to the Fall ITA Cup is a great way to represent Collin College," Andrews said.
