Collin College Men's Basketball added one each to its wins and losses columns over the past week.
The Cougars defeated Grayson College 81-73 on the road on Feb. 5. The team took an early lead in the game, shooting a solid 39% from the field and 35.5% from beyond the arc and winning the turnover battle against the Vikings.
Vinny Sigona led the team in scoring with 27 points while also adding four steals and five assists. He was followed by Brady Kennison with 21 points and David Emelife with 15 points.
Collin lost 79-58 to a strong Weatherford team at home on Feb. 8. While the team's all-around shooting was only down a bit from its Grayson performance, the Cougars had trouble sinking threes. The Cougars shot four-of-26 from downtown in the game.
Garrett Falls and Emelife were the leading scorers in the game with 13 points apiece, followed by Sigona with 12 and Kennison with 11.
Collin will host Temple on Feb. 12, with the men's game starting at 7 p.m., followed by a pair of road games over the next two weeks.
