Cougars Overcome Temple, Remain Perfect in Conference

The Collin College Men's Basketball team defeated Temple College 83-76 on Jan. 10, 2026 to move to 2-0 in conference play.

KEY PLAYERS

Kevin Paul led the team with 21 points (his season-high) on 8-of-14 shooting and went 5-of-7 from the free-throw line. He added seven rebounds, four assists and one block.
David Chong finished with 19 points, shooting 5-of-14 from the field, including 1-of-6 from three-point range, and 8-of-11 at the free-throw line. He added five assists and three steals.
• Jayden Ramnanan scored 12 points on 3-of-9 shooting, knocking down one three-pointer and going 5-of-7 from the free-throw line. He added four rebounds and one steal.
Tyreese Perry-Huggins provided a strong lift off the bench with 11 points on 3-of-5 shooting and 5-of-6 from the free-throw line. He added five rebounds, three assists and two blocks.
Nick Gunter contributed seven points, nine rebounds and three assists, while adding two steals and one block.
David Emelife added seven points and seven rebounds, shooting 1-of-5 from the field and 4-of-6 from the free-throw line.
Brandt Evanson finished with four points, three assists and two steals.
Cortlin Siska added two points, one rebound and one steal.
Fabian Pommells contributed two assists.
