Cougars Cruise Past Temple in Largest Conference Victory this Season

The Collin College men's basketball team (19-5, 7-2) defeated Temple College 81-60 on Feb. 11 at Temple.

KEY PLAYERS
David Chong led the way with 19 points on 5-of-10 shooting and a perfect 7-of-7 from the free-throw line. He added five rebounds, five assists, and an outstanding six steals, impacting the game on both ends.
Cortlin Siska finished with 14 points on 6-of-12 shooting and contributed two steals and two blocks.
Brandt Evanson was perfect from the field, going 5-of-5 and 2-of-2 from the free-throw line for 13 points. He also added four rebounds and two assists in an efficient performance off the bench.
Kevin Paul recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds (nine defensive), adding two blocks while shooting 5-of-8 from the field.
Jayden Ramnanan contributed 11 points and three rebounds.
David Emelife grabbed 10 rebounds to go with eight points, giving Collin another strong presence on the glass.
Chris Jones Jr. and Fabian Pommells each added two points off the bench.
Tyreese Perry-Huggins pulled down four rebounds in reserve minutes.
Kai Bryant contributed two rebounds, one assist and one block.

GAME NOTES
David Chong had a career-high six steals. Chong has recorded a steal in but two of his 23 games played.

Kevin Paul recorded his second-straight game with a double-double. Paul has five double-doubles this season.
