Cougars Come Up Short Against Ranger

The Collin College men's basketball team (19-6, 7-3) fell to Ranger College 82-66 on Feb. 14 at Collin College.

KEY PLAYERS
Kevin Paul led the team with 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting and 5-of-6 from the free throw line. He added five rebounds (four offensive), one assist and one turnover.
Cortlin Siska finished with 13 points, eight assists, four steals and one block, stuffing the stat sheet while adding three rebounds.
Brandt Evanson provided a strong lift off the bench with 12 points on 3-of-4 shooting, including 1-of-2 from 3-point range, and 5-of-6 from the line. He also contributed three rebounds and one steal.
Tyreese Perry-Huggins added six points, four rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in a well-rounded effort.
Jayden Ramnanan totaled five points (5-of-6 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal.
Fabian Pommells chipped in four points, three rebounds and one assist off the bench.
Kai Bryant scored four points on a perfect 1-of-1 from the field and 1-of-1 from 3-point range, adding one rebound and one steal.
David Emelife recorded four points and two assists.
Travis Fralin added one point and three rebounds.
David Chong contributed one steal.

GAME NOTES

Brandt Evanson recorded his second straight game in double figures for scoring and notched his second-highest scoring performance this season with 12 points.
