The No. 19 Collin College women's basketball team (12-3, 2-0) defeated Temple College, 59-50, on Jan. 10 to stay perfect in conference play.
KEY PLAYERS
• Gabby Morales scored 16 points on 5-of-15 shooting, including 1-of-4 from three-point range and 5-of-8 from the free-throw line. She added four steals and three assists.
• Taliah Martin recorded 15 points on 6-of-18 shooting and added five rebounds and three blocks.
• Sara Basaran posted a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. She went 7-of-8 from the free-throw line and added three steals and two assists.
• Mufaro Mapengo provided a spark off the bench with eight points on 2-of-3 shooting, going 4-of-5 from the free-throw line. She added four rebounds, two steals and one block.
• Ella Macleod finished with five points on 1-of-4 shooting, knocking down a three-pointer and going 2-of-2 from the free-throw line. She added three assists and two steals.
• Olivia Grgicevich Lassey contributed four points, five rebounds and four assists.
• Trinity Thomas added three rebounds, three assists and one steal.
