The No. 20 Collin College women's basketball team (12-4, 2-1) dropped it's first conference game to Ranger College 63-43 on Jan. 14 at Ranger.
KEY PLAYERS
• Ella Macleod led the team with 12 points on an efficient 6-of-9 shooting performance and added three rebounds.
• Gabby Morales scored 10 points and contributed across the stat sheet with two steals and a block, while going 3-of-4 from the free-throw line.
• Taliah Martin recorded a strong all-around performance with eight points, a team-high eight rebounds, and a team-high four steals. She also added two assists and a block.
• Olivia Grgicevich Lassey added seven points on 3-of-6 shooting and chipped in a steal.
• Sara Basaran impacted the game defensively with seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks, while adding two assists.
• Trinity Thomas provided energy off the bench with three points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals.
• Mufaro Mapengo added two steals in 16 minutes.
• Maya Fowler pulled down a rebound in limited action.
