No. 22 Cougars Take Down Hill on the Road

The No. 22 Collin College women's basketball team (13-4, 3-1) defeated Hill College, 63-58, on Jan. 21 at Hill College.

KEY PLAYERS
Sara Basaran led the team with 15 points on 4-of-9 shooting, including 1-of-3 from three-point range, and 6-of-9 from the free-throw line. She added nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.
Taliah Martin recorded 11 points on 3-of-7 shooting and 5-of-6 from the free-throw line. She added five rebounds and one block.
Ella Macleod finished with 10 points, knocking down two three-pointers, and added one rebound and one assist.
Olivia Grgicevich-Lassey contributed seven points, going 5-of-6 from the free-throw line, and recorded a team-high five steals.
Gabby Morales added five points, three assists and two steals.
Georgia Alford provided five points off the bench, shooting a perfect 1-of-1 from three-point range and adding three rebounds and two steals.
Mufaro Mapengo scored four points on a perfect 2-of-2 shooting performance.
Trinity Thomas added three points, four rebounds and two assists.
Abby Sokolova chipped in three points and two rebounds.
