The No. 22 Collin College women's basketball team (17-4, 7-1) defeated Weatherford, 79-76, on Feb. 7 at Weatherford, claiming their fifth straight conference victory.
KEY PLAYERS
• Olivia Grgicevich-Lassey led the team with 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 1-of-3 from three-point range and a perfect 3-of-3 from the free-throw line. She added seven rebounds, three steals and one block.
• Sara Basaran recorded 16 points on 5-of-11 shooting, knocking down two three-pointers and going 4-of-6 from the free-throw line. She added nine rebounds and two assists.
• Trinity Thomas provided a strong lift off the bench with 10 points and six rebounds, along with three assists and two steals.
• Abby Sokolova added 10 points, connecting on 3-of-4 from three-point range and adding three assists and two steals.
• Mufaro Mapengo contributed nine points and three rebounds, going 5-of-7 from the free-throw line.
• Gabby Morales scored eight points on 4-of-6 shooting.
• Ella Macleod added six points and three steals.
• Taliah Martin chipped in two points and one rebound.
