The No. 20 Collin College women's basketball team (19-4, 9-1) defeated Temple College, 68-50, on Feb. 11 at Temple.
KEY PLAYERS
• Gabby Morales led the team with 22 points on an efficient 9-of-14 shooting performance, including 1-of-1 from three-point range. She added seven rebounds, three assists and three steals in an all-around game.
• Sara Basaran recorded her seventh double-double of the season with 19 points and 10 rebounds (all defensive), while adding an impressive five blocks and one steal.
• Ella Macleod contributed eight points, three rebounds, two assists and one block.
• Olivia Grgicevich Lassey added four points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal.
• Trinity Thomas pulled down six rebounds to go with four points and two assists off the bench.
• Mufaro Mapengo chipped in six points and one block.
• Georgia Alford provided three points, two rebounds and one steal in limited minutes.
• Taliah Martin finished with two points and two assists.
• Abby Sokolova and Maya Fowler each added a rebound, with Sokolova recording one steal.

• Gabby Morales tied her second-highest scoring performance of the season (22 points), record is 34 points vs Weatherford on Jan. 7.
• Sara Basaran had a career-high five blocks. She also had one steal. Basaran has had at least one steal in all but six of her 23 games played. She recorded her seventh double-double of the season.
• Trinity Thomas tied her season-high for total rebounds in a game (6)
• Olivia Grgicevich Lassey recorded one steal. Lassey has had at least one steal in eight consecutive games and has had at least one steal in all but four of her 22 games played.
