The Collin College women's basketball team finished second in the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC), earning the No. 2 seed in the North Division for the Region V Tournament. The Cougars enter the tournament with a 22-7 overall record and a 12-4 mark in conference play.

Collin will face No. 3 seed South Plains College from the Western Junior College Athletic Conference in the quarterfinal round.

Hosted by Odessa College, the Region V Tournament will take place March 11–14 and features the top four men's and women's teams from both the NTJCAC and the Western Junior College Athletic Conference competing for a berth in the NJCAA Division I Basketball Championships later this month.
