Gabby Morales, a 5'9" sophomore guard from Lubbock, Texas, has been named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NJTCAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week. She set a career-high in points (34) in the Cougars' win over Weatherford College on Jan. 7. She also was perfect at the line, sinking all 8 of her free throws. In the Cougars' win over Temple College on Jan. 10, she led the team in scoring with 16 points and recorded her second-straight game with four steals. She also went 5-6 in free throws. She leads the team in total scoring with 206 pts and field goal percentage (76-152, 50%). She ranks 4th in conference in free-throw percentage and 9th in field-goal percentage.
