From the bustling courts of Beijing to the competitive arenas of U.S. collegiate volleyball, my journey has been shaped by drive, resilience, and a commitment to building excellence together.
I began my volleyball career in Beijing and, in 2003, earned a spot on the Chinese National Team. That same year, our squad won gold at the U18 World Championship—an early reminder that dedication and belief can take you across the globe. During those years, I traveled the world competing, and learned lessons in humility, adaptability, and teamwork.
Seeking to expand my horizons, I moved to the United States and attended Seward Community College in Liberal, Kansas, on a full athletic scholarship. There, I broke school volleyball records, by earning NJCAA All‑American honors, and completed an associate degree in general studies. I then transferred to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco—again on full scholarship—where I played while earning my Bachelor of Fashion Arts degree.
After graduation, I accepted the head coaching role at Frank Phillips College in Borger, Texas.

In my first season, our team set a school record by winning every home match. From there, I went on to coach at Dallas College–Richland Campus, where my team finished with one of the top records nationally in NJCAA Division III, achieved a top‑10 national ranking, and produced All‑American athletes with a 100% graduation rate among my sophomores.
Now, I’m honored to lead the women’s volleyball program at Collin College. In our first full season 2025–26. Our DIII team earned a national ranking of #9 and placed second in conference competition.
